Parking Spaces Day, June 22, 2012
Hello Friends! Please come join us this Friday, June 22nd, 2012 for a full day of fun in the streets as we celebrate Parking Spaces Day. Parking Spaces day is part of Bike/Walk Month activities. On this day, between 10am-2pm businesses throughout Boulder take over Parking Spaces and help Boulderites imagine new ways to use our public space.
We’ve coordinated a community table where we’ll be hosting food, fun and lively discussion throughout the day. To reserve a lunch contact us at info@bouldergreenstreets.org (lunches cost $5-10 sliding scale) or BYO Brown bag. Our lunch hour will be filled with lively discussions on topics such as GMO legislation and whether the WESTEND should add more bike parking (come sign our bike parking petition if you are in).
We are also doing a “Ride the Route” at 1pm. So, come meet us at our parking space for a group ride (and sneak peak) of this years Boulder Green Streets Ciclovia Route. We are looking for early input on your experience so we can make this year more dynamic than ever.
